La Commanderie de Bordeaux à Calgary was established in 1977 in Calgary to represent the traditions and standards of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux in France.
The purpose and objectives of La Commanderie are to explore the wonders of Bordeaux wines with outstanding food and great camaraderie. The Council spend many hours to organize special wine tasting events and fabulous dinners and other special occasions for the enjoyment and comparisons of the wines of Bordeaux.
